365 Everydays

First thank you everyone for a wonderful sale! I'll probably have one twice a year, so next one will be in July! I just hope I come out with enough templates in that time! :P

Right now I'm just getting quite excited and quite worried at the same time with this project 365. The more I read about it, the more I like the idea and want to have an album of our 2009! But only a few days into January, and I was like, what photos can I take? Our life is so "everyday", it's all the same everyday, how am I going to have photos to fill 365 days?? I've calmed down a little since then and decided that, I will cheat a little if I don't have photos for everyday, or I'll substitute some image if miss a day, or I'll skip some days and record more for others, just keep going and enjoy the process!

Actually, as the whole family gets involved into the project, everyone chips in with giving me ideas for photos, it is becoming fun and a great family project! Dh thinks we will find in the course of the year that there are many little things in our lives that we appreciate, fail to notice before, and are worth recording, but basically it is our life, and as a lady commented on this blog, our lives are ordinary but satisfying. I hope that shows through in my album, and we get a time capsule of our lives circa 2009 captured! If you have started, keep going with me!

Now the main problem I have is what style of pages do I go with? I've had a few requests to make templates for Project 365, and as I started, it got fun. Here's a layout using one of my templates (set 9 - altered as I needed 9 photos - it's available for your download further down)- easy and fun to embellish!
Credits: Paper from Thankful, by Emily Giovanni. The "january" epoxy sticker is from a mini kit I made long ago, you can download it further down too!

Now this is more in keeping with the graphic magazine style I started with my January First page. I can't decide! Which do you like better? Or do you think I can have mixed up styled pages in my album?? :)

Now you might be wondering what is Will Smith doing on my page, well I had no photos for that day where we worked till late then went on date night to watch Seven Pounds, so that will have to do.
And do you see the photo of a green snake trying to swallow a chameleon? Dh took that shot last week at his school camp, amazing! And without Project 365 that photo will not have been scrapped. :)

Next up I'll be scrapping the boys' birthday photos, they turn 10 and 12 respectively on 13th and 17th of January! Where did my babies go?

And here are Project 365 templates I put up in the store :here

And these are for you to play. Hope you like them.

  1. OH Yin! I am sooooo thankful for your templates! I had emailed you a while back when I downloaded my first template. I have finally spent some time playing around in PSE and using your templates! THEY ARE INCREDIBLY HELPFUL! I am a mom of a toddler and it is challenging finding the time to design ... but with your help I am getting pages done lickety split! I am so sorry I missed your sale (or whatever it was you had) but I am ready and waiting for the next one. And thank you for your freebies ... they have been a great way for me to get started! God bless,
PS www.antinozzi.blogspot.com have my layouts with your templates

  4. Thank you for the share of the latest template for 365 Project. I don't see why you can't mix the templates for the layouts, although my preference does go with the graphic magazine stye layout for some reason. I am thinking in the end it might make a better album and a bit more focused.

Will you be sharing the templates you used for these January "Happiness" layouts. As I am starting with your Week 1 templates I really would ove to have this one for Week 2.

Thanks so much, you are so talented in the template world!

  5. Thanks for the template! Also, I like the magazine style layout the best (red & white), but I think after 365 days of this you'll almost certainly end up mixing and matching your style anyway, so why sweat it now? Thanks again and have a great day!

  9. I really like both styles that you used to scrap your 365 photos - I can't decide on what I like better. But, I do think that you should be able to combine styles for your whole project. Good luck and thank you so much for sharing the template! :)

  10. Thank you so much for the template! Your's always great, and this for p365 is fantastic. Great display of seven pictures in one page.
Both your LOs are lovely, I can imagine it is hard to decide. I will do mine very simple, probably with white BG, to give the album an uniform look and pop the photos. But I love all scrapped pages with their cute elements and beatuiful papers.

  11. Yin, thanks for another great template gift!
I love your templates and would like to buy the two new sets but if I try to put the second one in my cart I get directed to https://www.payloadz.com/ and I'm not able to finish the order.
This happens to me when I click on either 'buy now' or 'add to cart'.
I hope that you can fix the problem.

  13. Your 365 templates are fantastic Yin thank you!!! Of course they have so many other uses. Deciding on the style of this project has been the most difficult thing for me. I love your fresh graphic look too...difficult decision. Personally I think adding a variety of styles will make it more interesting visually overall. I have now decided to insert extra pages re important events though out the year..ie birthdays, holidays in a different style to break up the weeks.
Look forward to seeing your completed pages xxox

  16. Thank you for the templates and word art. I think as far as style of pages if you choose to have different styles that they will show another aspect of your year. Your mood will change your ideas will grow and you will have a different outlook as the year progresses and as you look back that will enhance the process and enjoyment. My opinion, take it or leave it. Having a set style like a template theme that runs through the whole year can also focus the mind on the pictures themselves. Either way, I totally agree with the feeling of keeping up with the project being a bit overwhelming, but I like the way you chose to handle the "missing" photo of the day. I know that will come in handy for me as well. Thanks again

  21. Thank you so much for your template and tabs. It's so nice - as always! I am doing Project365, and trying to decide on style for my pages too. Think I will have mixed styles through the year, as I like several, and fins it hard to commit to just one.

  22. Thanks so much for this marvelous template - I'm thinking maybe I'd like to do a different layout/template for every week throughout the year. My life, too, is pretty mundane, but I'm looking forward to the memories that will come flooding back when I view my album in the future; and what a fantastic resource this will be (hopefully) to future generations of my family as they view what my everyday life was like!

  24. Thanks so much for the template. I have used your other templates because you can put many photos on a page which is my plan. I take so many photos and need to put as much on a page as possible without looking messy!
